What is Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system and the effects of these disorders on general health.
Chiropractic services are most often used to treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms and legs and headaches.
Your first visit
Please allow a minimum of 30-45 minutes for your initial consultation and treatment. The doctor will conduct a thorough case history and examination to determine what course of treatment is required. A standard follow up visit at Coast Chiropractic is approximately 10-15 minutes. This may include heat or ice therapy, deep tissue and trigger point work followed by a chiropractic adjustment.
Please be advised that a 24 hour cancellation notice is required as your scheduled appointment could be used by someone else in need. We accept cash, Eftpos and credit cards.
ACC is a government run programme which subsidises the cost of your treatment. ACC care is provided in our office without a referral from your general practitioner.
We provide ACC treatments for anyone who has experienced an injury or accident such as: slip/fall, heavy lifting (boxes, luggage, children etc), sports injuries (running, lifting weights, rugby etc) and work injuries or any other action that is related to you experiencing an injury.
